How to write consistently boring scientific literature

A light, interesting and funny article about scientific writing. Although I do not agree that an impersonal leads to a boring reading, the article provides a list (a more or less common list) of recommendations to write interesting scientific literature (in an inversed logic).

Another good paper on writing for academic papers with similar advice is The Ten Commandments for writing academic papers by Dra. Julienne Hanson.
