The  Public Sound Objects project installed at the Casa da Música will appear on the next issue of Exame Informática. 

In the installation at Casa da Música the following people participated:

Álvaro Barbosa - The project's author.

Jorge Cardoso - The guy (me) that implemented it all in Java.

Jorge Abade - The guy that designed those nice looking orange stands for the Mac computers.

I'm working on a new version of the Public Sound Objects installation that will be on display in Casa da Música under the portuguese designation [Objectos Sonoros Partilhados] that is part of the ExposiSom, from 01 October 2007 to 03 January 2008.

Basically, you will be able to play a piano without having to know how to play a piano. All you have to do is "play" with a graphical user interface on a computer. Besides playing the piano you will also be able to play with four other people at the same time, since there will be various interface points along the corridors! Hopefully, it will not result in a total cacophony...
